Marbles Lost // Copenhagen Songwriters Festival 2019

  • Copenhagen Songwriter Festival 1 Onkel Dannys Plads København, 1700 Denmark (map)

Friday the 30/8 at 11.30 PM Marbles Lost will take the stage at Forsamlingshuset at Onkel Danny’s Plads.

Marbles Lost is the artistname of Faroese Maria Mercedes Lindenskov. The name originates from the English saying: ,,To lose one’s marbles”, which means to be crazy or insane.
Maria Mercedes is 24 years old. She has been singing and writing songs for as long as she remembers.
Marbles Lost originated in collaboration with a friend in Berlin in 2016. It started out as a cover-band that played on the S-Bahn, but has now evolved into Maria Mercedes’ electronic indiepop project and darling.
Marbles Lost is formed by her very divided childhood, where she partly grew up in Copenhagen, the capital of Denmark, but also lived a couple of years in a small village in the Faroe Islands.
Today she commutes between the two countries.
With a little help from her Macbook and Ableton Live, she experiments with beats and lyrics. With her personal stories, vivid ideas and creative mind she will take you through her divided universe.
